From the Pastor’s desk— July 7, 2024
Somebody prayed in the parish that we Claretians do not leave so soon and well God answered your prayers for us to be here a few more days, so this gives me one more opportunity to share some weekly thoughts with you.
As we are in full summertime mode, there are two websites I think you will find helpful should you get the chance to have a vacation this summer.
1 Masstimes.org
This is a wonderful website to help you find local mass and mass times wherever you are traveling. We should remember if we take the time to plan our itineraries, hotels, and pack our bags, then we need also to plan where will we celebrate the mass on our vacation. God does not take a vacation from blessing us, neither should we forget Him on our vacation, in fact, this should be the first thing we do in getting ready for any trip, put God first.
Another resource that may help you is if you are in an area that you cannot get to mass but you have internet service, then you can watch masses on the internet through the diocese of Detroit
2 Massfinder.org
This service was created around the time of Covid and is not a resource when I am feeling lazy or don’t want to go out of the house. This is for those who cannot get to a church for health or emergency circumstances.
A last item that I would like to share with you is where each of our Claretians will be residing in their next assignments.
