Festival of Nations update

We are preparing for is the Festival of Nations. In response to the pandemic, we are adjusting our celebration to spread it over 3 weekends so we avoid any overcrowding. We will hold the event September 26, October 3, and October 10 each Sunday from 10:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. We will offer a selection of international foods on these dates that will be prepared for take-out or to enjoy in our outside tables (weather permitting). We will have at least one dance group each week (outside), as well as vendors and international music.

If you are interested in helping in any of these weeks, know of vendors, or businesses that would like to be a sponsor, please contact our front office or Fr. Ray at (417) 869-3646. We realize we cannot celebrate as we would like to or as we are used to, but we would like to bring a piece of this wonderful celebration of our cultures to Sacred Heart and look forward to everyone spreading the word.

• We are seeking volunteers for 9/26, 10/3, 10/10 that can help with set-up, clean-up, or be food runners.
• We are seeking businesses that would like to be a sponsor, sell their products, and/or provide their international food for one of our weeks.
• We are looking for donations of water or beverages, desserts on 10/3 that can be prepackaged.
